Debden House is surrounded by Epping Forest and is a perfect location for a camping getaway. Debden’s central location, only 20 minutes from the Stratford International terminal and 30 minutes from London Central, makes it an ideal base to explore London, Essex and the Home Counties.
Debden House Campsite has 7 fields, including 4 fire fields within it’s 50 acres. There are 300+ pitches, many with electric hookup for caravans and campervans. It also has the facility for set camps for youth groups, schools and larger bookings.
Debden House is one of the few remaining campsites to allow open fires. There are now dug out fire pits in the ground for you to have an open fire. Bags of wood and kindling are available to purchase. Note fields 2, 5, 6 & 7 are fire fields.

Located between the town of Loughton, the village of Theydon Bois and Epping Forest, Debden has been chronicled since Saxon times. The name Debden was derived from the Saxon word meaning ‘Deep Valley’.
